Yeah I worry about that too. I used PLA filament to print it with (extra infill to be stronger), but not even sure if it would hold up to the rising heat from the 14+ watt bulbs as is. Maybe a different type of filament would better? The plastic base sockets themselves are heat resistant though...

Taping some of the more expensive allergen/mold rated 20" x 1-2" furnace filters up to a cheap box fan works pretty good for general scrubbing of a room. Check out DIY corsi-rosenthal boxes for more effeciency. Not really true hepa.. but test prove the cheap box fan filters scrub like 90% or...

If working inside a large grow tent, just mount a couple of FFUs up top(or wherever?), and you basically have a portable clean room!

Your flow hood will likely be setup more like a fan filter unit (most people seem to use FFUs for myco instead of actual LFHs), which is what they put in the ceilings in clean rooms anyway. In other words, you might as well just buy or build another FFU, and duct it in a way where it pulls in...

I've seen people take apart the original style corn cob style LED bulbs, and lay out all the strips in a flat panel configuration. They been making them ones kinda like that for awhile now though, so they can transform into a more directional lighting mode..

The 100w equivalent LED screw in bulbs are usually around 13-15 actual watts. If you remove the plastic diffuser globes to expose the PCB\diodes, you'll significantly increase the output on your diy fixtures BTW.
