I just cut the stem and placed it onto a bottle of water and change the water with RO water every 2 days. I have the 3 clones under a single cfl bulb in my closet and that’s doing the trick!

The only thing I’ve done is watered with fish and kelp. Maybe I should add some ewc and a couple scoops of 3-9-4? I’m afraid of over feeding the 3-9-4. But at the same time, if it’s lacking in N who is to say that P & K aren’t right behind?

More leaves yellowing. And they’re traveling up the plant I’m noticing. Any suggestions? I watered 2 gallons with fish and kelp fert just now hoping that might slow the process down. She seems hungry but I’m not 100% sure, this is the first time I’m growing while adding dry amendments.

I found these in my soil not too long ago. They seemed to be eating the leaf matter and organic matter in my soil.

Well, great news! 2/3 of the bottles clones HAVE roots. They already have formed and are growing every day. Waiting on that 3rd one to pop roots, if it doesn’t.. well at least I have one to create a mother plant :blsmoke:

Decomposer mites

Btw, I’ve been adding leaf material that I cut off to my soil even before transplant and it never presented any problems. Just found decomposer mites in my boy plants soil which was from the same bag. Kind of strange only in that one but not both.

I use it as a mulch on my top soil. I let them dry out and then I add them on top to help hold moisture in my soil. I don’t throw live material in there. But short answer yes. Eventually, my microbes will break down the leaves and return the nutrients to the soil.

Here is a better pic of the plant with the lights off. She looks fine to me?... just concerned about the few yellowing leaves at the bottom. They seem to pop up pretty quick. Maybe I’m just tripping?
