No. I mean samsung lm561c or newer diodes. Or even newer cob lighting. Specifically I'd look into horticulture lighting group and their kits. They are decently priced and deliver what they say they will. I wouldn't recommend a kind light to any of my friends.

If you are trying to be thrifty with the fixtures and cover the space optimally id just grab 2x 1000w or 3x 600w hps lights. Midrange would be 2/3x 630w cmh lights Higher end stuff would be the decent led setups. They do provide a much greater efficiency and save money after about two years...

Need is a strong word in this hobby. You don't need 3 600w hps to cover the area either. 2 would work fine as well, it just changes your optimal style honestly.

Still an hour of bubbling the water to its saturation point of oxygen is a good idea for your roots. And I use recharge so, there is a microbial benefit for me there I suppose.

What climate area are you in? And do you have a minisplit, dehumidifier or anything else equipment wise? It will help determine what other equipment you will need to rate for for environmental control. And when you say budget isn't an issue that can be a slippery slope in this hobby lol.

What is your budget and media preference? (And height of the room) and how many amps does the room have access too? And do you have easy water access?
