Its looking pretty good. I wouldn't bother with defoliating. Your plant doesn't look crammed or compact. I would bend those tops down and outwars, if the branches still have any flex in them. Otherwise, just let the plant do its thing.

Thats a bummer. Your going to find seeds in your whole crop. Lucky for you, they will all be feminized seeds.
Just be more attentive in the future. Check your plants thoroughly, especially if you decide to grow and test some of the seeds from this crop.

If you do use the divider, make sure you check it thoroughly for light leaks. Light leaks through the velcro. I had to make some adjustments so that the divider was completely light proof.
You need to till and mix in more mushroom compost. Soil looks like it might have a lot of clay. The roots are probably struggling, and thats why the plants are growing slow.
I cant say for sure. Defoliation is not enough to severely stunt growth unless your removing like 80-90% of the plant's foliage, at once. When growers defoliate, they usually do it in small increments so the plant doesn't get super stressed out and has time to recover.
