how do you really know when your plant is ready to harvest?

tecnically, the trichomes, cloudy for couch lock, and white for mental, energetic high. but really, each plant has its perfect time. some should be picked early, for the mental high, and some are better later for the couch lock. i usually break off a branch and dry it and test it first, sure...

    What's wrong with these baby

and if you hardly water, perhaps drainage is low or heat is low. i try using about 50% mix of soil to vermiculite/perlite to ensure excellent drainage. i also keep temps at 75-80. any less and i turn on the space heater for them

    What's wrong with these baby

first that pot is huge, so when ya water, the plant has to reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeach for nutrients, so 2 things happen: it will focus on growing roots instead of ´soil up vegetation´ and it will struggle for nutes! 2nd, check ph, and then yea, add a little nutes.

Guide to Nutrient Deficiency or Toxicity

Im posting this from another thread, I think its key on how to Create your own feeding plan, and start PREVENTING issues, instead of TREATING them.

What could be wrong? Iron def? and?

i gotta be honest, and im guilty of this too, trying to find out exactly what nutes are showing their deficiencies, kinda pointless. its not like we can easily add one nute and not any other. like if your short potassium or calcium for example, maybe ya can, but if your short on molybdenum or...

RIU do you think this would make a trifecta of mite killing power?

yea go fight them! the key is to repeat the process, as some bug killers only kill the adults, but the eggs survive. so ya wait til they hatch, then spray again, and repeat til theres no eggs being laid. helps to know how often to do it (depending the bug), but id do it every 3 days or so for...

    Brand New Plant Turning Yellow

im guessing your saying .16-.10-.10 cuz thats what the bottle says. and inside that bottle, that is true, for every 100 grams of the mixture inside that bottle then theres .16 grams of nitrogen, and .1 of phosphorus and another .1 of potassium. those numbers are a ratio to each other, to 100...

    Anyone recommend a ph/ppm pen/meter?

ppm i dunno cuz ive grown for years without a meter for it, i test ppm with my eyes checking plants, daily... well a few times a day really. for pH i use both, the vial + eyedropper method from any petstore for a few bucks, and the pole ya stick into the ground thats a wet/dry meter, soil pH...

Need some general help on where I am going wrong?

pH is the first thing to check any time theres an issue. go to a pet store. get a pH kit for the fish tanks. 10-20 bucks also, see if they have a pH buffer, 6.5 (or 7.0) for tropical fish tanks, that stuff is like gold. i use the 6.5 stuff, up to harvest. 5-10bucks. there might be one thats...

no offense, but no. stop flushing and START FEEDING. iron, molybdenum, and a serious amount of phosphorus and potassium. actually, just go ahead and feed it everything you can. id imagine if your low on iron and Mo, then your low on a lot of other shit as well have you read...

    Sativa or Indica?

yea right now, the question sativa or indica is kinda a rediculous question. most strains are hybrids. 50/50, or 75/25 or some other mix, but a pure indica or pure sativa... do they even still exist really? we´ve bred plants so much, and inbred them so much that seeing a pure strain isnt likely...

is it ok to mist the plants even if the humidity is around 80%?

yea theres no point. why do you wanna mist? sometimes if i notice the leaves are dry or dirty, ill mist a towel and wipe them off. (i too live in high humidity areas)
