    Lemonade from a "lemon"

I started a run of photoperiods from Ethos and this one started growing buds a few weeks after final transplant. My first auto! I wasn't feeding on a flowering diet, which I think accounts for the look of a "flushed" plant - but when I raised the nutes & added some Bloom Booster I got this...

    Pickles?

I expect I'll get around to trying them - when all my jars are full, lol! Since the pickle aroma doesn't seem to get into the bud this was more of a curiosity thing, maybe a chance to fine-tune what I'm doing. I'm in the middle of moving & when things settle down I'll empty my jars, boil them...

    Pickles?

Thanks! I've never heard/read about bringing canning techniques to bud preservation. Thanks for adding to my knowledge base!!

    Pickles?

Yeah, I'd want a sterilized container for food. Just didn't think it applied to bud. Maybe it does!

    Pickles?

Hell, I'll give them a few seconds in ACTUAL boiling water, lol! Gonna take a few months to see if it makes a difference, but I'll add to the thread then... Thanks!

    Pickles?

I wouldn't waste your time or mine. Brand new, unused, rinsed Mason jars...

    Pickles?

Brand new with lids on. I rinsed and dried them before filling. Same aroma even across 3 strains. It doesn't seem to affect the taste after grinding, just thought I could learn something about "my style" from ya'll's input...

    Pickles?

Lately I've opened some stored (3 mos. +) flower and the main aroma in all the jars is "dill pickle". The jars were new when filled, the bud's been maintained at 62% and kept in the dark (mostly) - and it smokes perfectly fine, with no pickle smell after grinding. Is this weird, normal, or...

Think of switching to Jacks 3 2 1

Not so different, then! Good growing, Jack's is great!

Think of switching to Jacks 3 2 1

It's really hard to compare "levels" when our schemes are probably so different. I top feed 4 X 10 mins each day and my plant medium is 100% perlite in 6-gallon CAT LITTER buckets (lol), with a gravity drain back into the res. The drain placement is 2" above the bucket bottom so the roots can...

Think of switching to Jacks 3 2 1

2-year Jack's user. I up the concentration to 2/3 suggested strength for the last week of veg and first 3 weeks of flower (to power the stretch), but I don't go above 1/3 strength at any other point in the grow. My water starts at 300 ppm, so the targets are 900 ppm to 1200 ppm. Works for me...

    Michigan Law re: Edibles/THC

Got a Subaru Crosstrek & it goes & goes on marginal roads. It goes & goes so well I think I get overconfident and might find out someday that it doesn't STOP as well as I need it to...

    Michigan Law re: Edibles/THC

Family used to have a restaurant. On stormy days, locals were MORE likely to drop in. Ya just gotta LOVE bad weather & want to experience it to live here...

    Michigan Law re: Edibles/THC

The bigger towns are growing some but the burgs are disappearing. When I hear about killing off the oil economy, cars going electric - self-driving I wonder what it'll look like in 20 years. Can you imagine how long it would take a self-driving car to go through the U.P. IN WINTER, with some...

    Michigan Law re: Edibles/THC

I pumped gas while in high school & you wouldn't believe how many times I was asked if we accepted American money. When some people drive across Mighty Mac and go through the toll gate they think they're IN Canada, lol...

    Michigan Law re: Edibles/THC

We yoopers spend most of our winters scraping trolls off trees when they drive faster on snowmobile trails than they did on I-75 getting here, lol. On the bright side, the 4-wheel craze is keeping our medical system going in the summer, too... I'm hoping that the Washtenaw County Prosecutor's...

    Michigan Law re: Edibles/THC

"in any state" - Meaning that this a Federal statute? According to the feds, it's illegal to sell cannabis for ANYTHING, EVERYWHERE (currently). I'm looking for a reference to a MICHIGAN statute, possibly part of the 2018 legalization of recreational use & sale. But thanks for the reply!

    Michigan Law re: Edibles/THC

The interpretations of the law I've read are ALL about plants & flower - no reference to THC itself or edibles. If something's illegal it's written down somewhere...

    Michigan Law re: Edibles/THC

Okay, I think I understand the Michigan position regarding cannabis/hemp PLANTS - but has anyone explored/learned about the regulation of edibles/concentrates? What are the limits on making and sharing or (gasp!) selling them as home-grown medicinal products?
