I'm not an expert, but I think they can be grown outside as well as any other plant. When you take clones, you have to make sure they have established roots before you plant them, of course. If you started them inside, you'll need to harden them off by giving them a few hours of real sunlight each day, increasing it over a period of one or two weeks,just like any other plant that was started indoors.Once you've done that, you should be able to plant them outdoors like any seed grown plant.
