The spacing seems just right, i have 5 plants in each tub and they are doing pretty good. I think the 5" net cups were just right. Im thinking about adding a second airstone to them just to be completely safe. The setup as-is though works, and has worked just like that for other growers. I think if I was going to do it over again I would get a longer air stone, one that stretches the length of the tub, but as it is now I get mist on all 5 net cups with the smaller stone. You can never have too much oxygen in the water. Also since my post I have taken extra steps to light-proof the whole setup. I covered it in mylar but duct tape would work just as well (and may not even be neccessary either, but better safe than sorry right?)
