Yes it's possible. It's mainly due to what strain the plant is, but isn't 100% guarantee. Most blues and purples you see come from outdoor grows. When the plant is nearing the end and temperatures drop it cuases them to turn different colors. Just like normal trees do in fall.

Yeah, for sure.

You can get as crazy as you want with it.

Okay so I saw this picture of a purple haze plant and it looked absolutely gorgeous, the bud was purple but the pistils were red, which I know is normal but they were abnormally red, like they were completely colored no white at all, is that possible?

Just to make it clear though. Buying seeds of that purple haze doesn't guarantee it will look like that. It could end up looking like just normal green bud. But it has a chance to be purple with the rad hairs.

Ah, I know what I have to do if I want the purple bud, the hairs would be a plus, also on the thread there is no green box for me to click on, probably has to do with me being on mobile id assume.

They do. And unless you have a huge grow room, that's going to take you a good chunk of time. Like 7-8 years.

Why does it take so long, can't you grow one plant in like 4-5 months?

Yes you can. With breeding and crossing its a bit different. It's a lot like dog breeding. You have to pick and choose what trats you want to see and keep breeding that same trat for a few generations. To come out with a plant that's more likely to have it.

So let's say I'm breeding that purple haze with Acapulco gold. I get five plants but only one of them gets those red pistils. What do I breed only play that got the red pistils with?

You would breed it with the strongest looking male of whatever side of the trait your going for.

So do I breed it with it's dad? Or a clone of its dad or something that comes out of the seeds from the first pollination?
