OG Kush auto going crazy

Just wanted to brag a little on this girl. She's an OG Kush auto from Humboldt and might I say I have been very impressed with the results so far. Day 1 was Dec 8th. This is my first time growing an auto. I can't believe how big she got. I think shes just about done with her stretch. Mid week 3 flower. FFOF soil/nutes - 600w LED.

She looks really good, I'd back off just a tad on any fertilizer additions and possibly raise up that light. I can see a few upper fans going pale.
Whats the temp and RH your running?
600w from the wall or equivalent output?

Very nice.
You might consider thinning her out.
I want to so bad but being my first auto, i've heard all to many horror stories about doing to much training or trimming with them. Your time is limited so stunting an autos growth is something I've been told to try and avoid so i've been having to hold back my heavy desire to go to town on her and like corey webster said, "open" her up. Im just to new (scared) with an auto to just start chopping. That also the reason for the not so even canopy. I've done some LST'ing and trimming of the lower old fan leaves but have refrained from doing much since she started showing pistols. I've just been letting her do her own thing. and yes Woedae, i do need to raise my lights. I was trying to put that off hoping her stretch would stop but she kept going,

Selective pruning is beneficial! Excessive pruning is something different and very stressful for autos. Implementation of canopy spreading and defoliation with the mindset of stress prevention is key! Little by little, and she's gonna crank out the flower!!

Just a little curious, how did u rig that Home depot bucket ? Are there just drainages holes in the bottom? Or is there another pot within it?

I drilled multiple holes in the bottom of the bucket (plus I have about 1 inch of straight pearlite at the bottom to help it drain.) But I do have a 2nd 5 gallon bucket I put under it when I feed/water, I let it drain for an hour then dump out the run off then I dont need the 2nd 5 gal. anymore.

I might try something like that sometime !

The funny part about this is, is that I have several 5 gallon fabric pots that I SHOULD be using instead of these 5 gallon plastic pots. its just much harder to collect the run off from a fabric pot to a plastic pot and I feel that point isn't talked about enough to be honest. hahah

That's what I've been using . But honestly I've been noticing weird drying spots . That plastic bucket might be helping hold moisture in the soil. Cause my pot will dry in in as little as two days sometimes destroying micro roots

YES! So this is my first grow in years, it was kind of thrown together on a whim. but I had those same issues with my fabric pots during my last grow. I had to water/feed almost every other day. clearly the roots/soil was getting more air than it needed, it was drying out 3x's as fast, not allowing your plant to take up all the available nutrients before she goes dry and then you feed again and end up burning her.

Yeah I've been thinking about a set up similar so that I can do run off testing easier cause without a elevates screen of some sort it's hard to collect run off with fabric , yet alone I notice the water likes to pool up at the bottom sometimes
