First ever grow, flower week 3 suggestions?

A few picks of my first grow. Looking for some more experienced folks here to provide any suggestions on items I can improve at this point. Should I:

Trim lower leaves or branches?

Trim of any of the lower flowers to increase potency of the top ones?

What about the smaller nodules that grow among the lower branches- should
I remove those?

Any other suggestions on actions I should or shouldn’t take at this point.

Looks great maybe take off those inner fan leaves that are touching each other as powdery mildew loves those areas if there isn’t air moving between(probably check early when lights just turn on to see if there is any moisture buildup at lights off) but I would suggest start off with minimum work on the plant and take photos or a use a journal so next run you can improve. each strain is different, some are more finicky than others but once you have one successful run of a strain you know what to look for. Lower branches will produce fluff but with out a ppfd meter your guessing which ones aren’t getting enough light

with all that said don’t worry to much about looks fucking great

Awesome. I used a ppfd early on but primarily with the tops and before flower - plus much smaller a month or so ago. Will bust that out again to try and see which lowers are/aren't getting the light they need.

I really appreciate the feedback...hopefully in about a month I'm asking a few questions about how to harvest and dry it proper. Cheers

Yes sir it’s always a learning curve I’ve ran this blue dream 4 runs in a row and it doesn’t care what you do to it it’s happy to do its job but this chem D x lemon cherry gelato obviously is having a hard time I think it just needs more cal mag than my blue dream(I’ll get it dialed in next run I promise! lol) so it’s always an adventure, also the blue dream is less nutrient hungry so it’s an awesome plant for anyone

That blue dream looks sweet! I'd imagine you've had several successful grows so I'm honored to get advise or even general feedback from you.

I actually have no idea what I have - wife pulled a seed out of an OTC flower of some sort she got at a local CBD shop, we planted it and I eventually decided to get a small tent/light setup; the sapling nearly died as stem extended too far (guessing too little light). Once I got it going again and into a consistent feeding schedule it has taken off - and now it pretty much fills the entire tent. Main stem is thicker than a fat cigar, and the primary branches aren't far behind that. I've topped it a few times, several fiims, and even spread some branches out using wires anchored to the bucket.

Oh, and I also use fish heads (buried), egg shells and coffee grounds which seem to have helped considerably (or if nothing else have not harmed).

I'm going to make sure and update you in a few weeks or so and post some follow up pics as this develops. Peace brother and happy growing!

Your doing great. Plant looks really healthy. Dont change anything. Most of those fan leaves will fade and die back naturally.

Only thing I would suggest is removing the buds developing on the bottom section of the plant. I attached a simple image as a reference.
Remove all buds from section 4 of plant. Some growers remove buds from section 3 as well. I dont remove from section three unless the plant is really tall.

Just saw first grow so thought meh just keep simple but wow thats a nice picture. Confirms my confirmative bias that people really do that so thanks lol. I tried removing tier 3 and wow so much fat colas they molded under ok conditions. Possibly makes them finish faster some times.

They say perpetual works but wow its a crap shoot if they finish on the dot schedule wise.

For sure. All advice should be assessed relative to the plant that is being grown. It might make sense to remove buds from tier 3 for some plants, but not all plants. Genetics is the wildcard. I wouldn't dare remove tier 3 buds for a super dense flower pheno. I would also make as many tops as the plant can handle for a dense flower pheno.

Yea exactly what I have no choice but to do I dont like the idea of spores and continuous issues. Just never happened before I used to leave everything on there but shaded growth with leds it just made my pheno take much longer.

Love it - thanks so much for this! Will clean up 4, and post a few pics, then consider 3 as a possibility.
