Tell you what. I've got a friend in the Mat Su. He knows Jim and he bought some RKS seeds last summer. Let me see if Ron has popped any and what his opinion is. He won't lie about it. But I passed when asked if I wanted to get in on an order from them.

Well nobody has gotten any regular in more than 2 years. When Jim went down everything stopped. I have questions about who maintained everything before his son returned and took over. For every reason.

Bumping this one up. Anyone find anything cool? Where does he sell his seeds?
hey bro, saw ya post this and unfortunately Heime Cheeba aka ACC passed away in a motorcycle accident about a week ago. There may be some RKS f2 coming my way; will let ya know if that happens. The Potcast just publicly released an interview with him a few days ago which is a great listen with a lot of interesting info into his preservation work. Definitely a big loss for the world. Take good care bro, all the best

the shoreline that was going around my parts about 5 years ago (we used to get it about 18 years ago too, there was a gap) was basically RKS and if it wasn't it should have been. a bag of dead skunks that could be smelled for a day or two after it left a room. it was consistent for two years. i saw some seeds from a breeder called Shoreline. It looks like the same stuff, with other south texas names for strains which makes sense given the origin of Shoreline. anyone tried? they have shoreline, shoreline og, texas toast, fish scale, etc.

the few bagseed i got from a qp didn't pop or turned out male. i tried.

that’s a bummer to hear. I just listened to that potcast yesterday. RIP Cheeba.

Are you referring to Wes / Shoreline Genetics in Colorado? He has/had the real thing. Shoreline OG has got the right terps but it's not pure. Still good.

i saw some that were just Shoreline, not the og. it should be even closer, right? either way, if that skunk gene is there, you could cull it out i guess. that is the closest i know of. not impressed with roadkill or texas roadkill...or anything that is BC rks.

Yeah he has Shoreline BX1 and BX2. Probably as good as it's going to get in seed form.

I just moved to alaska. I went into a dispensary and saw rks. I got an 8th. It's got a little of the sulfur smell but it's not roadkill.

I grew out 4 sensi star x ACC RKS from AKBB. They were some of the happiest plants I’ve ever grown out of over 250 seeds from various breeders and genetics. Leaves always up, especially on the taller pheno no6; still have her. Growing a cut of it outside this year, really looking forward to comparing the product.

I didn’t get much skunk out of any of them, but they definitely had a sulfury dumpster funk, plus pineapple and tropical fruit from I guess the sensi star. Grown in organic soil inside with LEDs. Good stout plants. Funkiest stem rubs I think I’ve come across.

Had several females and 2 males; did an open pollination, and crossed all with a handful of other good things I’d found.

One of the crosses is my keeper CBD Warlock female (skunk 1 x Afghani/skunk) x Cannatonic that I hit with the SSRKS boys; I hope to have a chance to run some soon. The warlock definitely has a skunky undertone. I’d expect very consistent easy growing plants that have that old school appeal about them. I’d imagine they’d smell very strong of something funky and delicious. 71BD28E0-F70B-4A91-9967-B77C0FE7C6FA.jpegF5FA035C-89CA-45EB-8033-F91900AB7C91.jpegDFFE2FBB-06F7-4317-B0A6-DCE0ED8EA8E8.jpeg6DA09128-EF98-4453-B91F-B400977641E7.jpeg
RIP Dirty Jim.. I sure hope his close friends are taking good care of his dedicated work.
