For a 6 x 2, three Viparspectra xs1500 pro would give you a perfectly even coverage, using 150W each. I'm using 4 of them in a 60x32" with an open side and it's overkill but it gives me more flexibility.
I ended up getting four, and now I'm getting more light in my open sided tent using 400W than I was previously using 550W, and given the right genetics they definitely do the job.

There is also Shallow Water Culture too. Where the roots come out of the net pot into an enclosing pot with a small pool of water that overflows into a res. This also allows the roots to absorb the shallow pool and sit. Using the Nutrifield Pro Pots.
I would suggest giving the large Eazyplug pyramid a go. You’ll only need to water twice a week at first moving up to three times a day.
i do it all by hand but you could set up automation but for me that defeats whole purpose.

FFIW, I just got rid of my two QB96 running at 180W each and two other 100W lights and replaced them all with 4 of the new Viparspectra xs1500 with the lenses. I was going to put three in my 5 foot by 32 in tent, ended up with four. And boy oh boy what a difference. Instead of 550W I'm now using...
If you don't want to knock the N down a bit then FFS you need to do a shedload of defoliation. I mean what is the point of dark green leaves sitting in the gloaming of the undergrowth.
I was thinking the same thing last night. I have a 60in by 32in and currently have a couple of QB96's and a small viparspectra and a rapid LED puck. Most of these are over 5 years old. I was looking at using 3 x Viparspectra XS1500 pro with the upgraded lens. in my tent. Three in line would...
