Just getting back into growing after about a five year hiatus. I live in Michigan where I started a medical grow shortly after medical passed here. I previously did a mostly "organic" soil style grow under 600 and 1000 watt HPS. I was growing for a couple other patients, so I had up to 36 plants at various stages.
Taking a much different approach this time around. We have legal in Michigan now, so that changes things a bit, although I will still aim for a covert grow. Going small, mostly for personal use, 1-4 plants flowering at a time in a 3 x 3 tent under a Sun System 315 LEC. I am really looking forward to using the new light, the 3 x 3 tent seems like the perfect place to use one, and based on what I have read about them I am expecting good results.
Also going with a different medium, a very basic coco grow, I am planning on keeping it as simple a possible. Only a few plants in 2-3 gallon cloth pots. Since this will mostly be for personal use quality will be paramount. I will be growing from seed, and keeping everything in house. I have had both PM and spider mites brought into my garden on clones in the past, so this time around I have decided to grow only from seeds or clones from mothers that I have started from seed.
