saved more money? i haven't ever heard of that usually the other way around... i've been thinking of using t5's... its just a 4x4 ft grow nothing big.

check it out. i'm looking for the cheapest lighting that is still very effective. methods of setting up the lights too. all ideas and are welcome.. i'm more focused on the electric bill too. but please don't focus on just that info. thanks everyone. make this a good and informative thread.

Having trouble doing the math some one help me out please! So its guna be a grow under 2 600 hps lights plus the ballasts, fans, hydro pump, etc. So Im guessing the electricity usage would be around 2500 to 3000W.. I want to run the generator 12 hours a day till harvest. how much gas...

i have noticed a few leaves twisting but not many. the light is aprox. 3.5ft above because it runs really hot and that area seems to be working good. ive done a little research on the t5s. how do you like those ones compared to mh hps
