leaves are filled with chlorophyl.. that is the stuff that is evil.. smells like hay.. if you trim the leaves before the chlorophyl has evaporated, it will ooze all over the buds.. leaving them to smell like hay for all time... its a pain in the ass, but wait until they are dry at least a few...
