LED's: BML SPYDR 1200, Illumitex Neosol DS, Lumigrow or???

Take the video with a grain of salt. Every manufacturer has their own promotional video. PM me up if you want to talk to a LG rep or researcher who in turn can put you in touch with actual growers.

    Lumigrow pro650 hv

These pointers might help you out. This a rough guideline for growing cannabis with LumiGrow Pro 650 fixtures in a sole-source lighting environment. Use it as a starting point and adapt your parameters to meet your objectives. As always, listen to your plants and adapt accordingly. Lighting for...

I put a slide in the webinar at 17:07 that compares the BTU and the calculated dollar savings for the all LED, all HPS and checkerboard rooms.

    Will LED lights ever....

Super interesting thread. We recorded a webinar with the growers at Silver State Relief in Nevada. We tried to address some of the questions that commercial growers ask regarding yield, quality and energy consumption. We're planning another webinar to get more data and information. If you don't...

    Lumigrow pro650 hv

There's a new head grower which I haven't spoken with yet. I am looking forward to collecting notes and data. They've been quiet on the social media front. I do know that they are selling as quickly as they can produce.

    Lumigrow pro650 hv

Hey-o. We wrapped a webinar with a commercial cultivator last month. They're using Pro 650 High Voltage fixtures. There's some good info in recording. Here are the webinar highlights: • Dr. Hopper and Dr. Wheatley are seeing improved cannabinoid production profiles under LEDs. • Silver...

New USB PAR sensor from Apogee

Nice price point. A word of caution, pay attention to the spectral errors table in the manual: http://www.apogeeinstruments.com/content/SQ-420.pdf Also, if you check out the SQ series quantum sensor response curve, you'll notice that the sensor doesn't pick anything up above 670nm. Other than...

LED Grow Light Review & Comparison

We're hoping to see more manufacturers (and DIYers) reporting their fixture spectrum and output in PPFD (µmol*m-2*s-1). There's a push to establish a horticultural lighting label. I couldn't find the spectral response of the Sun System PAR quantum sensor or the UPRtek spectrometer. Some sensors...

    Whats the best led?

Yea, LumiPAR was bad marketing. It was confusing to people. The concept came out of trying explain why certain light spectrums were more effective at driving plant growth. Credit to all of you for calling BS. If you noticed, after the discussion on this forum the LumiPAR columns were pulled out...

    Whats the best led?

Those Mexican Blue's look really nice. I'm sorry to hear you're not totally happy with the LumiGrow fixtures. While it's true that the older fans on the ES330's have a higher failure rate, most of those are still under warranty and LG is happy to replace broken ones. The fans in the Pro units...

    Which one Kind/Lumi/Cali/Helio???

We don't have a grow journal but here are more photographs. These plants were grown under LumiGrow Pro 650 fixtures that run at about 580 watts. The grower obviously put a lot of care into training the plants. He probably won't ever go back to double-ended HPS now that he's got his line-up...

Illumitex DS 520 or BML Spydr 1000

I look like a spring chicken in that video. I'm still dumbfounded that the Monster Garden video has pulled over 400k views. The LumiGrow Pro 650 is turning out some excellent results for commercial grows. Check it out if you feel that the other manufacturers aren't quite hitting your sweet spot.
