I have to say it would have man. Only because the irrigation hub aerates the water before feeding it into the side of the rockwool. And since its aerated, it doesn't drown the plant, and its trickles slow enough that the plant is still receiving air all around it. But you could always go down to lowes or walmart and pick up what you need to do that. All you need is a small submersible pump, an irrigation manifold and some airtubing to run from the manifold to each net cup.
