If you are using chem ferts, whether using supplements or not, don't worry about your pH before mixing nutrients/suppliments whatever the case may be. Only pH after mixing your solutions and get them between 5.8 - 6.5. For soil/coco stick between 6.0 - 6.5. I use coco and my plants seem to love...
