You'll be fine mate - I've germinated seeds with water straight from the tap so don't worry they'll pop up in a few days - An EC meter is not essential I only use it if I think I have added too much or too little nutes - sometimes I forget how much iv added so I use the EC meter to double check

Hello mate - Yeah 7.8 is what the ph probably is coming out the tap - You want your ph to be in between 5.5 - 5.8 if you are growing in Coco - Let me know if you need any help

Hello mate - From what I have read you should be ok.. the strain you have chosen is 10% Sativa so it may well grow taller than the Lowryder 2. Stick to the feeding programme you should be fine with it - keep me posted

Hi again mate - If you are on a budget you can start them off under the 600W but like you say make sure they are a good couple of feet from the seedlings - If you can, try rigging up 4 or 5 energy saving bulbs (CFL's) these are really cheap & you can buy them for about $1 each - they will grow quicker during the first couple of weeks under them.. then switch to your 600W. But you could start them under the 600W if you really have to - Let me know how you get on..

Hi Smokie - Not sure why the messages aren't getting through must be a bug here on RIU.. Okay your Q's answered:

- I watered with nutes with every watering after the first week (I used just tap water for the first 7 days Ph'd to 5.8 )
- I wouldn't change anything I am very happy with the nutes & the feeding programme I came up with.. If it aint broke don't fix it!
- You could experiment with using PK 13-14 but I really don't think it's necessary
- A 600W would be fine just make sure it's not too near the plant you don't wanna torch these lil dwarfs!
- I put mine under the light as soon as they popped the soil (110W (2 x 55W) Fluorescent for about 14 days then under my 400W after sex determined)
