I tried that originally and, as stated, it worked. But it barely dimmed until almost totally dimmed. I have to assume now that the issue is therefore with the 100oKhm Pot itself. As I mentioned, that Pot was only rated 0.5W and so there must be substantially more power passing through those...

I'm pretty sure I was told we were getting voltage through the Dim+ or Dim- or both. Would that sound plausible?
