yeah, just soil. i didn't use any nutes... i started with miracle grow potting soil, and when i moved them to bigger pots i got a huge bag of scotts premium potting soil or something, the bag says "feeds plants for up to 3 months" and it damn sure did.
people hate on soil and preach about...
what's goin on guys? these ladies are 3 months old today, and have been flowering for a total of 8 weeks. i don't have a microscope to check out the trichs, so i thought i'd get some opinions on whether or not they look like they're ready to be clipped
here's some of plant 1's buds:
a little...
i can't believe how big that got in such a small container...nice work. i have mine in 5 gallon buckets and the plants seem to like it, lots of room for the roots to grow. i had them in some 10 inch clay pots before the 5 gals and the roots were completely growing against the walls of the pot...
i think i paid somewhere around $9 for 2 23watt cfls. no stores around me sold anything higher than 23w :(
i've gotten decent results just using 23s, but i can only imagine how much better my buds would be if i had 42watters. go ahead and get em!
the plants are 10 weeks old total, starting from when the sprouts broke out of the soil. most people flower for about 8 weeks, right? i switched them to flowering when they were about 3.5 weeks old, so the've been flowering now for about 7.5 weeks. i suppose some buds look a little more ready...
