ok so i recently aquired a 300-660w balast and a dual ark bulb. my question is alot of the stuff ive been reading is different height for hps and metal halide lol. so with a dual arc bulb they are both if i am not mistaken and am not sure what the best height i should be aiming for. any info...

sorry for the double post but if im following the charts above correctly at 24" its only getting about 7k lumens when if i had it cooled and only 12" it would be 4x that at 30k lumens??

This is kinda of a ghetto idea but if i found a way to attach a storm window (glass) to the bottom of the hood would that lower the lumens going through? would it be worth it to get it closer to the plants? i do have 5 23w 2700k cfls at the base of the plants to get undergrowth also. but...

so watered younger larger plant tonight. just got a ppm meter this morning so tonight actually adjusted everything. Nutes with water before watering was testing at 925 ppm (tap that sat all day was around 118 runoff was at 1k exact. so i think i shot for the right mark. any advice when using...
