I have no idea how much heat an air pump would generate lol, i was looking into pumps with around 15L/min, I've read that the recommended is 1L/min of air per gallon of water in the system, i'm estimating the total volume of water in the system to be around 60L or 15.8 gallons every board i look...

the wave maker option was not meant to dismiss your post, it was more of a reply to the other post in this setup there would be two pints where the water tension would be breaking, in the waterfall and in the upflow by the pump being higher than the water level of the top reservoir, just trying...

the water is oxygenated thru the breaking of water tension by the bubbles, not from the bubbles being in the water, that's why a wave maker would also work as the other guy said, going to give some tough to it, thinking i would need one for the top and one for the bot. if the waterfall is enough...
