Thanks for the kind words everybody. I still find it amazing that over 30,000 people have read about me growing weed.
I did consider the idea of a pump but I really was ready for that sort of investment in my grow rig at the time. Maybe I'll resurrect the tree grow next summer with some...
Haha no i was not caught and i'm back at school this year. But i ran into a few problems during the grow season. We had a particularly wet spring in the northeast and my grow spot flooded. I was only able to save a few of my plants but i still have a couple 5 ft tall budding females to harvest...
A man's gotta make a couple mistakes on his first grow. I had my reasons for harvesting early though. I'll make sure to let this year's crop go longer.
Sorry about the lack of updates, i've been wrapped various chores/errands etc. I've got 20 plants in the ground and i am working steadily to dig in the others. Hopefully i'll have some swamp pics either today or tomorrow but in the mean time i have the story of how i got my babies home:
So i...
Yeah i know i should have had them in separate cups but this year's grow is quantity over quality. I'm not too concerned about loosing a few plants. Plus i'm growing in my dorm room at the moment and transferring 180 individual containers would have been a bitch.
I had to salvage a few containers to hold my 170 plants.
I started putting some dividers in to seperate the plants but that proved to be quite time consuming so i sorta gave up.
Well next year i plan to expand my operations so i doubt that there will be another tree grow. However if people are planning to try my method i would recommend burlap sacks rather than plastic pots (better drainage and more durable). I also ran into some fertilizer problems because water from...
I used loppers for smaller branches but i donno if they could cut through 2 inches. I'd use a saw but it's sorta a bitch to climb with that strapped to a backpack so it's really your call.
Everything is dried, trimmed and organized by size. I've been enjoying the big buds and have been quite satisfied with the end result of my grow. Here is a picture of everythingg bagged up:
There has been much celebration:
Hopefully not. I cut off all the pollen sacks on the hermaphordites so they would not pollinate themselves. It is this inbreeding that causes more hemaphordites. By allowing only true males to pollenate, it should lower the chances of hermaphordites next season.
Basically i just bred my two strongest plants. My knowlage of strains are limited but i would say it's a satia/indica mix favoring indica. Any guesses from more experienced growers?
So i harvested my other plants last weekend and things look pretty sweet. The hermaphrodites were starting to rot because of a long streak of wet weather but that's okay because i only wanted the seeds out of them. It was interesting because the plant that survived the longest and was looking...
