The purple colour is most probably due to the colder temp of you outdoor area following the rainy days. As I remember the week after it rained here in Egypt was the the coldest this year. I live in Egypt too, and would like to know where you get your seeds from. I had 2 white widow seeds, yet 1 failed to germinate and one started vegging. I plan on planting more, but seeds are extremely hard to come by here.
