Sorry may have been a bit misleading there. I use panda film and that was what cost me $15. In terms of whether panda or orca is better I dunno. Panda film quotes reflects 90% of light omitted and orca I think quotes 96%. But all you're really paying for is the additional footage. Same size...
You know, once I decided I was going LEDs in the future and that the LED market starting picking up I never revisited this and the idea of a diffuser. Might be something to add on things to do this year, we'll see. I personally couldn't tell a difference other than they were the most dense buds...
Definitely doable. I probably won't run that many just because I'd want to make my own housing for them and currently I'm way too busy with other side projects. If you plan on doing this I would definitely love to sub that thread.
I have to humble myself a bit here. Revisited my old grows and actually saw a Boveda pack I had used... RH 62%, not 40%. I'm an idiot, but I could've sworn I had adopted the 40% from somewhere... back to digging I guess and sorry again for the misguided info...
Ya, sorry about that, RIU only allows 2 active links so the bottom two got bumped out. Here they are if you're still interested. LOTS of mistakes were made and a lot of experimenting with things that people were posting on other forums and stuff I was reading in articles...
Here's some of the info I had promised. Still digging for the rest. I only took a snip of the table in the article, if anyone wants the full article hit me up.
So a quick breakdown of the table since there was no real key in the article. 'Seizure' is the term they use for the sample...
Good eye!
Running two 2ft Sunblaster T5HO (3000k) and one Taotronic 24w LED Full Spectrum Grow Lights (these things are BAD AS FUCK). There double the wattage of the previous 12w model, they've added red LEDs for flowering and fruiting at two wavelength levels (630 and 660nm), and have the blue...
Congrats on the harvest! You can definitely get more than an ounce from a small tower pc grow (I have done it numerous times if you check out my older threads). Skip the mylar (unless you're strapped for cash) and head straight to orca or panda film (it'll run you $15 as oppose to the $1 mylar...
If you don't wanna deal with the headache of putting this together, Amazon currently has a sale on Taotronics 24w LED Full Spectrum Grow Lights that fit in a regular CFL housing for $32 (half off from $60). I've ran these and actually picked up a couple more and you'll be fine from seed to...
^ Some very sound advice, depending on which route you go. I've done both and no harm has come (knock on wool). I know... I'm terrible.
The root simulator, from my experience, growing 2 plants at the same time (same exact strain pulled from the same mother), the one I fed root simulator to...
lol you got me there. It's none of those things, but i've always liked a good frankenstein plant :fire:. Besides, I never really got why people thought grafting was so bad. If you have a sufficient amount of nutrients to feed and keep both plants on one stalk happy I see it no different...
Those... are.... some very bulbous balls you got there.
Love seeing people grow other things aside from cannabis on here! Great job on the setup.
Actually, now that I think about it. Growing cannabis was what led me to gardening. So much fun, so much to learn. And even though the 'budget'...
Been a while... just a quick upload from a crappy phone pic. I've been busy building/messing around with an aquaponics setup and I think I just about got it, so loads of pictures of the build coming soon!
