    Early Harvest

After it’s dry (and cured, if you like- then you can see if it’s worth the smoke) i just trim anything that doesn’t have (a lot of) trichomes, then roughly grind up in a food processor/blender, and put in a crockpot set on low (250f-300f range) with coconut oil. Leave lid slightly off to let...

    Landraces

I’d like to grow Vietblack sometime. I read/heard good things about its’ mold resistance. Random rain storms on top of the morning fog keep me on my toes in late summer here. Coastal NorCalifornia.

    Landraces

I’ve been growing KwaZulu for my third season now (with an extra round last winter with help from lights). Purchased through World of Seeds. The first year I got a really gassy, sweet, pheno, that smelled like a baby had eaten berries and pooped them out- gross I know!- but very unique and...

    Landraces

Just curious- where did you get the seeds? I grew DP from Dutch Passion co.- not a “pure” landrace as they had bred it with an indica at some point for cold-resistance.

    Early Harvest

I had to harvest a portion of mine early as well due to possibility of mold creeping in; going to dry and cure as normal to try as smoke, then probably just throw the rest in a crockpot with coconut oil for edible. I’ve done such before and it still works great. Not a loss.

Seeds from molded bud; genetic effect?

Fair enough, but I wondered if continuing the line will increase resistance. But, yeah, the easiest route would be selecting from unmolded in the same scenario, but that area of plants was pretty decimated and I had chosen the ones to seed early on based on other traits.

That’s rad. Are you able to power your pump off of solar?

Seeds from molded bud; genetic effect?

Coastal NorCal humidity and September rain destroyed a few of my plants with botrytis mold (I strongly suspect), two of which were seeded. I’m honestly okay with that, and am actually hoping it will carry a genetic resistance but could it go the other way? -or no effect? One of the plants is...

Look at my crazy mutant cola and stalk!

It is fun to see, and yeah I’ve definitely seen sunflowers do the same. Not ‘glad’, but definitely interested by it. I’ve others that are experiencing mold/botry already sooo I am actually hoping the substantial-rest of the plant does okay. Thank you for the warm welcome to the club:mrgreen:;)

Littering. I can't take it anymore. What is wrong with people?

I’m not a fan of the original artists of this song, and Dick Cheese has their own fans, but I do really like this cover-

Look at my crazy mutant cola and stalk!

I just realized the similarity of my mutant to this gremlin, hahaha.

Look at my crazy mutant cola and stalk!

It’s fine with me if it’s not the best. I have other plants. It doesn’t seem to be getting very frosty at all, but I’m sure I can make some light-strength oil for my light-weight friends.

Look at my crazy mutant cola and stalk!

I never feed it after midnight and stopped watering it.

Littering. I can't take it anymore. What is wrong with people?

I dig those videos where people catch someone throwing trash out of their vehicle, so they pick it up, and deposit it back the persons vehicle. I also despise litterers including smokers who throw their butts anywhere.

Look at my crazy mutant cola and stalk!

I might make a belt out of that ribbon of a stalk. Overall healthy plant; I do realize some spotting on leaf- feel free to diagnose, haha. 2nd generation (IBL) cross-to-clone of Durban Poison x Kwazulu Feel free to share any mutant pics here as well.
