I am aware that the most photosynthetically active range is in higher nm than the package im using provides.
your challenge then is to find an led, that puts out 660, which is specific only to horticulture,
and not sacrfice POWER or ECONOMY.
I can take a slight disadvantage in nm, only small percents of difference, for the immense gains in power and economy that i receive.
the rebel package is arguably the highest flux led out there that is available to consumers.
which means its also cost effective.
so,
if you can find 660nm reds, and you can buy them in significant enough quantities to make their individually low power usage actually mean something,
AND you can actually work or find pcb for that specific package,
then you're in business.
thats why 620-640.
