Since you switched it all around, there is only the cable-to-hood and the bulb-socket in the hood left.
Maybe there is somewhere a slight contact problem. Or corrosion in the socket?
Hi,
you could probably make it work, but the effort is pretty big.
You'd still need to get air in and out. MEaning you need big holes in the fridge.
And when you cut out the freezer floor, you may cut open the cooling liquid pipes. That stuff is probably toxic.
And the fridge wouldn't work...
Hi,
you guys here in the forum gave me ideas to build a device.
I have now made something.
If you have a moment, would you let me know what you think?
The device let's you check your grow on a smartphone. Wherever you are in the world.
It shows you temperature, humidity, PH, water...
That would, unfortunately, be quite difficult.
It would need a bigger computer inside and we would need a screen. It would make the thing more expensive.
So sorry, this one may not be possible.
However, even a 1950's milkman shows up sometimes, right?
If you have just 15-30 minutes of Internet...
Hi Forum,
I continued work on this WiFi enabled Grow Controller and it is taking form:
Here's a quick update
The system would look similar to this:
There are 3 power outlets.
You can connect sensors to this as needed. Like Temperature, Humidity, PH, EC, Light. Up to about 50 sensors...
Hi,
that is terrific. I need help on the electrical front.
Currently researching the best way to make the fan speed control via transformer, but controllable by the microcomputer.
Seems like an autotransformer is a good way. It would just limit the fan settings to Off, 50% and On.
Do you...
Weed literally grows like a weed in all kind of different surroundings. It is an easy to cultivate plant and very forgiving. Some of my first plants were hopelessly overfed, but they still turned out ok.
It seems this power isolator circuit was made to address this problem. Not sure though if this is applicable for your nutradip setup.

Hi, thanks!
Yes, PH dosing seems more of a challenge.
I checked out the Milwaukee device and noticed they sell the probe and dosing pump separately.
Would it be a good idea if they could get connected to 'my' grow controller?
So people who already have this gear wouldn't need to buy it all...
Hello everyone,
thanks again for coming up with all these ideas.
I worked on the project and came up with something that will work for the different use cases you gave here.
It is a web-app that lets you program the device and tell it what to do.
So you have total freedom to regulate your...
Hi, yes it seems true.. those phase cutting dimmers are not good for some (many) motors. Now, it would be quite expensive to put an auto transformer, or even a frequency changer into the device. So I would rather offer that as an external add-on for people who'd like to treat their fans with...
Yes, you would then probably use just 2 power outlets for the 2 fans. And they could be set to never go below 20% so you'd always keep some air exchange.
Ok. That LED would indicate power and also Wifi connection status.
Right, so either UP or DOWN solution will be enough. I see what you...
