i dont really think the type of curing you do is strain dependent. turkey bags work well, but a glass jar will always be a better choice. that way you know it is airtight
its also very nice to hear that there is a walmart that is pretty far away from someones house.
they are practically everywhere now, and to be honest you shouldnt shop there anyways.
most grocery stores have them too, although they are usually smaller. pint and half pint sizes. they should be in the kitchen accessories section. ask for where their canning/preserving stuff is.
i would also jar now if it were my grow. that moisture in the stem will equalize throughout the bud and you wont end up with crispy weed. just be VERY dilligent about checking the jars and airing them out. do not allow mold to grow. leave the top off for a day if u need to, or even throw it in a...
benefits to doing all that??? just about everything that he told you about his ways, are exactly what you should definitely not do! unless of course your trying to grow really crappy weed. but that is pointless.
yeah. dont dry them too much though... i like to err on the moister side of things, and put them in the jars right before the stem snaps. then for the first 2 or 3 days i will open them a couple of times a day for about half an hour or so. usually the first time i open the jar for the day i will...
ive done it by hand, with two bamboo sticks... just make sure you keep dumping in ice as it melts cause it will take quite a while. 30-45 mins.
i probably didnt get as much as i could have...but it still works
im in northern cali and i still have 3 small branches that have been hanging for about 2.5 wks. i check em daily to make sure they are not too dry. and when i get some time ill cut em up and keep em separate from the rest to see if there is a major difference in flavor/harshness. the rest of it...
yeah im not sure that feeding has any direct effect on how much water weight will be lost. i think its more to do with the size and density of your buds.
