WOndering is 12" sufficient for a raised bed ? Transplanting potted plants this week. Thanks. I have always dug individual holes but this time gonna put several plants with my mix in an above ground sort of deal , way easier for me. Thanks

So, don't ask why but, I didn't want to individually plant the remaining sprouts so they all just came out of the soil in a 12" diam. 2G pot a BUNCH of them. Not ideal, but at what stage/age can I sort of safely pluck individuals out and put into induvial cups? I'm thinking maybe fist two...

No problem germinating, its AFTER they start to come out is the problem. Sort of stop. Maybe soon as I see the tip start to come out I'll just plant them.

I never or rarely had many issues years ago. Now lately I am picking it back up again and have some issues germinating. Could it be the strain? Finicky? What happens is most seeds will start to sprout ( lets say out of 20 seeds ) and only a few or so maybe a half dozen will come out nicely...

On a side note here, probably for a different thread, but I have a LOT of year old piled chicken manure. If I get some organics to mix with it, how much to use without going too high in N.? I would never try fresh chicken manure. I used 1 yr old chicken manure last summer outdoors with wood...

Yes bottled nutes. Can't recall the name brand at the moment, from a farm supply store in town. They sell FF and a few others.

Two Prong probe tester. I stick it up high, then down low and a couple spots and see what's average. It was soil I made with cow manure, compost, peat, perlite and some topsoil. Maybe too much manure not sure. Is what I was thinking.

So been meaning to ask this for a while and keep forgetting. Whats everyone use to maintain soil pH ? Mine is too high. 8 to 8.5. Changing the watering solution to like a 6 does nothing to the soil seems. Need something IN the soil for next time I think. My water is 7.2. and when nutes are...
