Thanks all. Not sure if my question is answered yet. Ill try rephrasing...
Not asking about Wattage / Power used. I'm clear if Im burning 400w im using roughly the same power / paying the same elect. Im asking specifically about amps. Lets say I only have 40 amps I can alocate to the veg and...
Not sure about that. Only ones I know that don't let stink out are the portable 2 port ones - instead of the one out port. I'm assuming if it's letting stink out, its probably letting fresh air in. Anyone?
I heard HF is not honoring returns if manufacture date is before they took over or something wierd like that. I'd check to make sure your store is going to honor your return in case they get screwed by Hydrofarm...
what kind of dehue you running to keep the humidity from stunting growth? My dehue went out on a sealed room run @1200ppm and temps stayed consistent so didn't bother to fix / replace immediately but I noticed crazy drops in yield from just added humidity?
My flower room and veg already push the capacity of my Amps. Im using 220v halides but want to switch to 110v T5s. Will using a 220v to 110v step down voltage converters (like the travel ones) allow me to run twice as many 110v T5s while using the same amount of amps?
You're gonna save electric but buy the right bulb your dimming to- ie. put in a 600w bulb if you dim to 600w /750w if dimmed to 750. If dimming say a 1000w bulb to even 750 in addition to having 1/4 output, youre throwing off the spectrum and probably gonna yield even less than 1/4
I've used both. T5s great for starts but switched to halides because I can get a bigger footprint 4x4 over 400w instead of 2x4 over 440w(8x55w T5). Lately I'm hearing a lot more growing under T5s cuz of the tighter nodes like dannyboy602 and Scroga. I also like that I can use halides on 220v...
New to the forum scene but cant seem to find answer to this one relating to thread above...
WHat if I'm vegging with 110v T5s. If I use a step up / step down converter (like the travel ones) can I plug into my 220v controller and run twice as many and use the same AMPS?
