Me & Chocolope Kush have been BFF's for quite some time now & every time I try to talk myself into trying a new strain I end up feeling like a Fly stuck in Honey ...
Barring Reg. have you ever had a staple strain that you kept around for an extended period of time ?
With the wide selection of exotic strains available these days I wonder what growers have found to thrive in hempy growing systems best.. "Best" being quality yeald flavor simplicity to grow ect..
I've successfully been farming with GH Floranova Grow & Bloom with a dose of CalMag as needed - stunning results from the first time in coco has me hooked
(If I have cash on hand) I'll pay my friends $10 an hour to trim or give them green dope - I'll also bake them out along the way and feed them good - Sushi or Pizza sure keeps the help happy.
If you are in a legal state you could see if your area provider has any way to help, They may have...
Indoors I cut them at 72 days & the trics never did amber up like photo period plants do - They got thick & globbed over but only got milky under 65k T5 lights.
The smoke was a serious couchlock the older I let it get
Are new female clones or the mother plant safe to be veged around pollen producing male plants while they are not flowering?
I realize that pollen sticks around for a while but antisipate my breeding project to be done well before the clones (or mother) are ready to go into bloom 12/12
I have grew both Photo & Autos under T5's & have found that by swapping out the center half of my 65k bulbs with 24k bulbs when they show sex gives me the best quality buds under a 48/8 T5
I ruined a trio of beautifull plants by doing a full change over from 65k to 24k's..Buds were thin whispy...
I have decided to make a dedicated flowering tent with my 3x5 - I plan to flower 2 Indica strains at a time in 5 gallon pots of soil. I have took a heard look at LED's & love what they are but it's heard to stray from convintional wisdom..
I grow my Cream in 3 gallon pots of FFOF with lots of course pearlite & Floranova nutes. Under T5's I get close to 2oz of buds every grow a little more if you get the bushy babes.
...as well as a slew of pheno types even from parents that are alike..
How old was she when you harvested ? Not messen with ya but are you sure they were seeds ?
I had a plant that I grew long trying to wait for my tricombs to amber up and she ended up trying to produce pollen sacs.
Big pots = big root mass = big yealds reguardless of what your growing.
Give em' more spacing in the tent & watch them grow bigger than when when crammed in tight together..
Don't transplant Auto's if you can help it, plants germinated in soil till & grew till harvest did way better than ones...
