Thanks Maphisto! I sure am. Between 2-3 gallons of room temp pH balanced water seems to do the trick. Next time I'll have a better eye for topping and tying down much earlier.
It's getting pretty crowded over here. Definitely to the point where I have no choice but to start using tie downs. Hindsight tells me I should think about doing this a couple weeks earlier on the next grow. If the plants touch the glass ceiling that the light bulbs are behind, they're as good...
Thanks for the kind words. 4-6 ounces still isn't the end of the world, but it sounds like you have a good grasp on the things you're gonna do differently next time around.
Today is going to be a neat journal update. I’ve decided to prune these Super Critical ladies. Sticking to the general rule of leaving most growth alone 4 nodes from the top, I hope this will help divert all of the important flowering energy so that these plants can create really big buds...
Nice to meet you Dank Gorilla! I can understand why someone would outgrow (har, har) a Producer fairly quickly if they wanted really tall plants. I think we just need to learn how to master making them thick, short & bushy! Looking forward to checking out your work as well.
Yes, I've been trying to read up a little bit more on the topic before I begin pulling anything off though.
Cheers mate, thanks! I appreciate the kind words. The plan is to become perpetual here pretty quick.
The Producer is sure filling up with Super Critical goodness!
I noticed pairs of white pistils sticking out of many of the uppermost buds as these plants truly begin their flowering cycle. It's going to be a lot of fun watching the buds grow over the next couple weeks.
The plants have grown quite a bit in the last few days. They seem to be very responsive to everything I'm feeding them by Advanced Nutrients:

All in all I'm really pleased with how things look.
I've had fun updating Heisenkush.com over the last few days...
Pretty impressive growth over the last few days. There's just a whole lot more plant matter. Things appear healthy and happy.
This is with the T5's on and the pair of 400w HPS bulbs above powering up:

Right on Bongzilla610, nice to meet another fellow BCNL greenhouse user. I look forward to checking out your grow as it unfolds.
Actually, Sky Rocket, they've been on a 12/12 light schedule for the last 11 days. They're still doing quite a bit of growing right now. I've witnessed the roots...
Things are starting to get very green around here!
Here are the results from topping last week:
We're just about to see some pre-flowers pop up here any day now:
Stems are strong and healthy; so are the roots:
Here's a shot with both 400w HPS bulbs, the 125w CFL & the T5's:
Himalaya Gold stood out to me for a lot of the things I'd read about it being awesome for a really creative cerebral high. I'm going to build a custom SCRoG screen soon. (I don't think I'm going to build it for this current grow.) But I think that will really help with any hybrid or sativa...
