thanks for that was reading that I should probably be using cal/mag with the LED light. Any thoughts on whether I would have quicker growth with NFT by getting a pump and external reservoir for my tube?

I have tried to ensure that the reservoir is exposed to little or no light. Although I do drain the reservoir into an ice cream container at least once a day to better measure and adjust PH and PPM as required. It wouldn't have more than 15min of light exposure on any given day. The water fills...

roots shown are from two different plants (2pics of each), the two bigger plants were germinated a week earlier than the others. I am also aware that I will not be able to keep all 7 plants in the current setup whilst flowering as their will not be enough room.
