So this is my first grow and i've got two cakes that haven't done anything since birth (might have put em in a tad bit early). They're pretty white and they aren't blue at all, but they've been in the FC for about two and a half weeks now. Should I just stay patient and wait or would it be...

the monster on the right weighed 32.0g wet so im hoping ill get 3gs dry out of it. so far so good with these guys, i never thought my first go at it would be so decent.

same cakes 2 days later, holy shit! ahaa

all from the same cake. so far two other cakes are fruiting pretty well. other two still have no signs the missing one is getting dunked

Yeah dude I was surprised they were still going, hopefully nothings wrong. I'm hoping they'll take like 2-4 weeks longer, but we'll see.

Had to go outta town for the summer so I haven't been with the jars but they're STILL colonizing. I think they're taking so long because i used pint jars for a 1/2 pint jar recipe. Still no bad signs though, just waiting on the bottom to fill up.

Even though they're coming up a bit slower than I thought they would, I'm pretty sure these are good signs. Or it could be cobweb mold....but I can't really tell yet. Any ideas?

Yeah I was thinking that, but I had already started this first set before I found out about it. I'll definitely get the wide mouths for my next set, hopefully these ones don't get completely ruined. I was thinking of using that blue bucket in the picture, think that'll work with a transparent...
