I searched for a thread on outdoor flowering and found one, read through, and really couldn't find the specific answer I was looking for so... Here goes:
I'm in West coast Florida and I currently have just 1 plant growing. I started a little late in the season which turned out not to be that...
Does anyone have any experience with planting a germinated seed into a jiffy pot?
What I mean by jiffy pot is those very small pots that have a small hole in the top of it that is completely made out of a spongy soil that stays together.
Yeah but a seed can germinate in one day or 5 days, yah know? And there is no way of telling if it is germinated or not unless if I take the seed out of the hole, and I don't think that's a good idea.
Quick germination question. I usually germinate my seeds in wet paper towels and stuff, but when I was at the hydro store the owner and I were talking about germination and he was telling me to just put seed right into a jiffy pot and water it. Then in two days put it out in the sun and let it...
That happened to me too, but they eventually responded. Just remember the time difference when you check your emails. They open at 3 AM eastern time and close at around 11 am eastern time. I'm pretty sure they will get back to you though 'cause they got back to me.
Grow one more plant in the same spot. Lace it with horse laxative. Game over.
From there on out you should be free to grow as many plants as you want in that spot because they kids will be too afraid to take from you again.
If you are using pots you could always do what I do - I bury mine 2/3's into the ground. The pots I use are pretty big and I don't want them sticking straight up in the air so I just dig a big hole and stick 'em in there.
I thought I should give an update:
Turns out I was being too impatient.
I got an email today saying they would reship it. I wonder if they offer tracking on this order, and if they do stealth.
Oh come on, you got to give me better credit than that. When I first realized that I only had 5 seeds the first thing I did was go online and recheck the order - 10.
