I ordered a pack of Cap’s Mac v.2 from him months ago and everything went smoothly with fast shipping. I asked around be forehand just like you are doing.
Do you have a recommendation on which ratio of colors I should use. I don't need to use all of them I just wanted them on hand incase. This light would be mainly used for extra lighting from start to finish. Thank you for any advice you can pass along and for reading my babble lol.
I've been told to figure out how many leds I can put in each string I need to add up the forward voltage. Is this true? My red 660nm leds have a forward voltage of 2.2~2.6Vdc. If I use ten red 660nm leds do I take 2.2 x 10? 2.6 x 10? or split it down the middle and use 2.4 x 10? Confused on...
Thanks for the reply. I'm trying to build my first led light. I've bought red 660nm, red 620nm, red 730nm, blue 460nm, blue 420nm, and white 6000-6500k leds. All leds are 3 watt stars. I'm going to be using two drivers. Driver info is 12-18x3W Input: 85V-277V~50/60Hz. Output: 36V-65V 600mA...
Ok I will go with the higher number. I'm trying to make two led lights with 660nms, 620nms, 730nms, 460nms, 420nms, and white 6500k leds. Using a constant current driver with output: 36V-65V 600mA +/- 5%. Thank you very much for the help!
Hi Positivity. Newbie here so I can't personal message yet. I hope you don't mind me asking you a question on diy led lights here. My question is if my 3 watt red 660nm leds have the DC Forward Voltage VF: 2.2 ~ 2.6 Vdc in the data sheet and I want to use 20 of these in my build. Do I take...
