What makes it a knock off? They run Phillips bulbs which are regarded as the best cmh bulbs.

I think he is saying 3 630’s to be equivalent with 2 1,000w hps.

Just curious about the ambient temp increase they would put out. Blowing air high on the canopy, low on the fixture would help keep everything cool.

So would you recommend 3 315’s or 2 630’s?

Thank you for the link I will watch the channel later today. Can you comment on how hot the hoods get for the 630? I saw on the website that the max temps can get pretty hot. Is there any issues with having cool air blown directly on the fixture? Such as reducing bulb life or anything like that?

I believe I’m sold on the 2 630’s for the 4 x 8 space. That should be fine right? Not sure if I’m gonna go with the ones that can take a 1000w cmh once stable or the plain 630w fixtures though. I don’t really foresee needing the 1,000w cmh’s in a 4 x 8.

I think the 630's would be the easier option. Seems like the 8 lights would be a lot more expensive than the 3 630's and if you cant daisy chain them all together it would be a nightmare plugging everything in. I was looking at 3 of these...

Well im getting the majority of my stuff through amazon and prime shipping is so nice. They have many cmh setups with 2 day shipping. Lets choose door number 2 and 3. Would the only difference between the 2 be distribution?
