i just bought one, have been using it for a week, no problems yet! solenoid doesnt get scalding hot like some stories ive read. i think the seller was htg hydro or something like that
i have the same type portable ac. i got a carbon filter cloth, and covered the condensor coil with it(on the back of the machine at the bottom behind the plastic shroud. i havent had any smell issues. or you could sell that one, and buy a two hose unit and punch a hole for the intake hose
hey bud, insulate that garage door with cut pieces of styrofoam 1" board and glue. dunno your climate, but in summer that sucker will pass heat like a frying pan, also noise/humm will be deadened.
i water 4 times per lights on. 4 mins run time. enough to fill tray, soak 2 minutes
thanks for the tip. ive been using hydroton to fill in the gaps, but i havent filled the recent trays too high cuz its annoying having to clean em. my bathtub is full of hydroton.

yeah i never had an issue in veg with the GH chart so i stuck with it. i changed to lucas cuz i found the GH chart was too much nutrients in flower. but my major problem hasnt changed.
i dont use lucas in veg, i use gh 3 part according to their chart. plants start light green and vibrant.
not using any additives.
using gh 3 part or lucas the same thing is happening. even dialing both back. i have a 13gal res. G-M-B(0-104-208) i get about 900pm and have tried 0-80-160, i...
im running ebb and flow tables, used gh 3 part and now lucas. always had excessive salt buildup. causing dark green, curling leaves, but still broad, not pencil thin. gets worse as flowering time progresses. looks like ram horns. leaves get dry and crack near harvest. there is white residue...
i have little plants, about 16-28 inches, 3 days hanging then jars, after about 4 days in the jars they are smokeable. i burp once a day for an hour or so
i just did this a couple days ago. i found that you should really let them soak for at least 5 mins. i did a quick dunk for 1-2 minutes. alot of scum was on the surface of the water, but i still found some inside the buds. a;sp be sure to hit them with a fan immediately.
lights on temps are around 75-80
lights off 70
humidity is 49-53%
a month ago there was a bit of a heat wave, ac tripped on high condensate a couple times,
using cool tubes, lights are about 12+" away
