As far as I know, 600 W grow lights have better lumen-per-watt ratio. 600W lamps are more cost - efficient and produce less heat. If cost and cooling are not a problem go with 600 lamps.

I won't say anything about the amount of lights, there's way too much info on that all over the place. But have an electrical formula instead : Power [watts] = Voltage[volts] * Current[amps]. You can sum up all the lights' and equipment's power in the grow room and calculate the total current...

Disclaimer - electrical guidance should not be given by means of telecommunication .. But... I it's a C40 it should hold very well. The wiring looks fine. If the cantactor is of good quality and designed for high power (most of them are), the contacts won't stick and everything will be alright...
