Alternate branching is when the plant is mature enough and you can flower it right after that if you switch to 12/12

Makes sense maybe branches can only push out so many fingers compared to the main fan leafs

I would say just keep an eye on it, it should grow more than 5 finger leafs how long since you topped it

The number of fingers depends on the energy the plant is receiving from growing the plant I topped has been only growing 5 fingers since I topped it now I see the 7 fingers coming in so I know it's recovering now and growing how it should

Yeah I was worried for a few days but it should be okay but even before I defoiliated the plant the leafs werent that big but it has a rough go it's like 4 months old now and was really small and rootbound for a while in a small pot and took a long time to recover so I have faith it will do great

Haha omg, the pictures I posted first the plant is recovering good since the top and defoiliation I think it stressed it more since I did both the same day but its growing decent now but the leafs arent growing that big in size
