    Question about flushing

I want to put it out there, that the reason store bought tomatoes aren't nearly as good, is because they're picked too early and then gas ripened. Hydroponic or organic should have much the same resulting tomato, if allowed to ripen on the vine. Part of me used to believe flushing had some...

    Drooping and yellowing mid flower?

what medium are they growing in? what nutrients are you using? pH and EC/ppm of solution? what size are your pots? how often are they getting watered or fed? any runoff? Worth scoping for bugs, though I don't see any evidence. I think it's evidently something at the root zone, judging by the...

    General Mother hunting strategy

If I may be honest, it's not a lot of room to work with. Once you have a chosen mother there won't be room for much. My own space I use for clones and starts is 2x3. I've always found it a bit too small. Can reasonably fit one mother plant + tray of clones or seedlings, but not much else. When...

    General Mother hunting strategy

You can use Feminized and you can use a clone. Though I do think there's some truth to taking a cutting from a mature plant.

    General Mother hunting strategy

Doesn't matter at all if the mother is from seed or clone. You can usually sex a plant that's about 4-6 weeks old, regardless of it's light cycle. If your cloning game is good, take a few cuttings of each plant, right before you put the plants to flower. Should be enough space to house and...

List three things you learned from last grow.

    1. Lights off temps can be pretty cool when running 1000w HID. 2. Some plants really don't suit being in a tent. Find a new cutting. 3. Have a backup for measuring pH. Don't be an amateur and get stuck in the mud.

Would I be able to harvest her tomorrow? Day 64F

Yeah, really teaches you patience this stage of the grow. You're nearly there, just a little longer, well worth the extra time.

Would I be able to harvest her tomorrow? Day 64F

Easily few weeks to go. Don't chop yet. Bud still hasn't filled out yet. Lots of growth/bulk still to come.

ongoing biweekly cloning attempts and failures

Just my 2cents, I've never liked rockwool. Worth trying peat pellets or easy rooters / plugs. Clones can take a few weeks to get roots. And, I agree with the others here. Keep the humidity, take smaller cuttings.

    Watering issues,

How often is it getting watered? How do you water? Do you allow the pot to drain, or give little bit water more often?

Plant Cloning Issues, What's Going On?

How old are the right way up cuttings with leaves etc in the cloner? They look like they have plenty left in the tank. There's no reason they shouldn't root eventually, they look healthy enough. You're overthinking it in my opinion. Be patient, give them more time. So long as they're still...

Plant Cloning Issues, What's Going On?

You've put the cuttings in upside down! Look closely. And, I wouldn't approach it like a hardwood cutting, you're doing soft tip cuttings, so leave some leaf/leaves on, keep the tips on. I may be the only one here, but my cuttings usually start looking like crap right before they get...

    Soil, growing tomatoes v marijuana

Grow my out outdoor organically, like someone would their veggie garden. I use blood and bone meal, cow manure, gypsum, dolomite lime and mulch, that's it. Plus, I also like using composted chicken manure just before stretch starts, but that's just me. I usually top dress with manure a couple...

    Prob after rechrge

There's so much info out there and a lot of it can seem conflicting. Lots of ways to grow and lots of different products. And there's no one glove fits all so to speak. Can be difficult to find the right information, especially starting out, know how it is. Really imo, it just comes down to...
