400w of good quality led is enough for autos in this space running them 20/4 for photoperiod plants you Will need 540w... But i dont think you have 400w of leds here. Its based upon the power its drawing.

Going from what shane at Migro was saying it depends upon what you are growing. If autos then you need less PAR because of extended grow time. The plants only need 25w/sqft as apposed to photos which will need more at 35w/sqft because they only have a 12 hour light cycle. Working it out at...

Im not sure of the accuracy of these Phone apps.. I Just downloaded one and tested it under a 10w led light bulb and it was showing me that it was putting out 700 a few cm from the light.. Not sure if thats possible

Thanks ive checked Out the migro clip its very informative. According to him with 12 of those 13w led bulbs he would be getting PAR of 800mmol m2 thats even more than a 400w hps at only 150w! Im guessing the difference is how close you can get these leds.

So based On your figure of 24w/ft2 for a 2x2 that would come out at 100w and for 3x3 at about 225w. Is this enough light? It seems quite a low amount?
