Also created my own Trellis. Just took some PVC and hemp twine lying around. Hung it from some fishing line. Nothing better than creating something needed outta scraps.
Updates:
Midway through week 2 of flower
Temp 71-82* F
RH 50-60% (Just added a dehumidifier to keep RH around 45-50% for flower)
PPM 1300
My runts are the first plants to show some buds, Is this normal?
Done, I pruned the bottom 25% of the plant since theres still a good amount of light penetration (week 2). Im going to see how the girls fill out and then on wednesday (week 3) ill go in and take out what looks to be extremely unproductive.
It's been a little bit. Safe to say they've grown a small amount. They're up to 22 inches. No real issues, just 1 or 2 runt plants out of 16 which I think is good.
Ph steady around 5.5-5.8
Ppm 750+ (broke my meter before adding a light amount of liquid Kool bloom and flora nectar. Getting a new...
@horribleherk Nice! just a thought, if water is lost due to evaporation, are nutrients left behind increasing PPM? Im just trying to get the perfect level of nutrients by seeing if my ppm stays steady however if nutes are left behind it would be a good sign if ppm slightly increased.
For the first time I woke up and my ph and ppm didn't fluctuate heavily.
5.5ph
430ppm
Mid 70s temp
High 50 rh
Super cropped all but 4 plants. (Runts and plants that already looked stress)
Plants are between 8-10.5 inches
Time to flip soon!
I actually just found some people with common issues and you're right it is usually a high ppm problem or ph problem. Ever since I changed my nutes and got my ppm down the new growth has been healthy.
Here are all 18 girls. What do you all think?
I feel that even my problem child is doing alright? Any idea what's going on with her?
She's the third picture
Temperatures have been 75* on average.
Humidity 55-60%.
PH has been no higher than 6.4. Typically ranging from 5.5-6.4
I felt as if 24/7 drip with a 400gph pump was too much so I set the plants to be on a timer 30 min off 15 on. Not sure why i picked these numbers but the plants are less droppy...
@horribleherk how does 430 sound? Did a fresh res today.
I also redid my drip emitters to make everything perfectly even length wise. I also redid the rings with only 2 main steady holes opposed to holes all around the ring (only 2/6 usually worked per ring)
I bunched the plants up closer and...
Ph was 6.8 when I woke up, adjusted down to 5.5, is it possible to adjust PH too many times during the day ?
ppm 770
Temp 53*
RH 56%
Weekly progress pics will be posted Friday
@Gary Ganja i forgot to mention I also have a 400gph pump to recirculate the water. As well as a 3watt air pump connected to a small airstone in a 20gallon Rubbermaid brute container. I'm going to add a larger airstone
