Ffof with ice mountain bottled water . It is supposed to be at 6.5ph in the bottle. It was 7.5 so I adjusted the ph to 6.5 and my ppm went crazy ??? Educate me please

I am just doing straight water now. I had nute burn at 10 weeks flower . So am I good with high ppm but 6.5 ph ?

check the ph of my water it is 7.5 but my ppm is 12 which is good I think . When I add ph down it shoots my ppm up to like 440 and in the red on the indicator on the back but ph is 6.5 . What am I doing wrong and what should I go by ? This is before feeding not run off. Thanks for and advise
