    Cannabis and Firearms Question

You've got to decide at what level self protection is important to you. What the neighbors think is way down the list. You have got a moral right to use cannabis because that blessing was consciousness-manifested. Don't tell the neighbors anything you don't want the PD knowing. Enjoy your...

Jimski grow journal #2 Back to my roots

You got it! Soil is easy. I'm so impressed by the growers here and their incredible yields but it takes commitment and work. I'm too lazy for hydro, scrog, and lst. We grow quality for personal use. I top my indica after the 6th node and make sure to clean out the underbrush. Nice even canopy...

    advice on choosing LED device

Good idea. Raka could put two of the ViparSpectra xs1500 into his 4x4 tent. Two provide 300w, wide surface coverage and total cost of only $220.

Not sure what’s going on nutrient issues! Help ? Thanks!

Beautiful. Growers here are master class and this is a great example.

    advice on choosing LED device

The Lumatek looks like a good light but it is expensive. Over $400. Similar wattage ViparSpectra lights are under $200 on Amazon in the US. Is it some VAT tax thing? After Greenland and Canada maybe Trump should take over Europe too.

    advice on choosing LED device

Just looked it up. Very nice light with a Samsung 301 driver. In a 4x4 tent that light is the minimum wattage I'd use. I'd run it without dimming after ten days of vegetative growth. Just raise or lower the light to 22" in veg and 18" in flower or whatever the manufacturer recommends. Sorry for...

    advice on choosing LED device

Heat is a big issue for a tent. I have a 3x3 tent running a 242 watt ViparSpectra led (~600w equiv) - $160 or so on Amazon. Great performers for the money. That might be a bit low wattage for a 4x4. Most modern LED lights have a dimmer - important. Spider Farmer and Mars and others have good...

Not sure what’s going on nutrient issues! Help ? Thanks!

Sounds like you have grow experience but first time going all coco. It holds water and accumulates fertilizer salts. Nutrient lockout can result. I'd flush it thoroughly and cut way back on the supplements as jjgrow suggests. I like good soil plus coco as a 1/3 supplement grow medium for some...

where is the truly strong indica from pre 2017.

I'm likely older than you and have tried them all including the swill from dispensaries. They all suck including GSK and the celebrity favorites. I grow and smoke only one strain - Master Kush from Nirvana and only Nirvana. It has a deep to-the-core body stone and a spaced out, forgetful...

    Happy Frog?

You are correct, Jimski. I had placed a half-full bag of HF on a shelf in the barn. Three months later it was loaded with slugs. Vermin are good at finding food. Sealed soil bags and cloth grow pots reduce pest and over watering issues. Yellow sticky sheets catch the gnats in the tent. Here's my...

From one plant that is amazing. Truly impressed. How many ounces will you get off that?

    Questions about my plants

Mold means damp. I used to grow in plastic. Have you ever tried growing in fabric pots? Very hard to over water with the increased air flow to the roots. The root ball is so much healthier and evenly dispersed in the soil.

U.N suggests That U.S Gov must force states to repeal Marijuana Legalization

When Arizona legalized by citizen referendum they enacted rules on where the revenue would go. A big chunk goes to community colleges and law enforcement. Not surprisingly, the police say they've seen no problems with dispensaries or home grows. The state seems quite happy with the tax revenue...

    Happy Frog?

I use a mix of 2/3 Happy Frog and 1/3 Coco Coir plus a bit of added perlite. Thus one bag of HF fills three five gallon fabric pots for my 3x3 tent. The coir is good for water retention. I use the Fox Farms trio nutrients. The results over the years have always been good with no issues. HF is...
