I think it may be usefull to know how long you have been in 12/12 and what strains you are growing. Also pics will help 100%.

I would think maybe cutting some plywood to the appropriate size and drilling that in place would work. Just keep your blinds in place, no one would ever know. Unless of course your using this window often?

I think that would benefit you to have an inline fan especially in the summer months. Yeah get a feel for how the plant grows first before trying anything to change it, try a bending or cutting technique next time IMO ONLY. At 4 weeks in i think it might be a bit late to start a SCROG, but next...
