    Sonoff/Tasmota programming?

Home assistant with Zigbee/Z-Wave devices. I don't touch smart devices with wifi unless I have to, and they get isolated to their own VLAN without internet access.

I wave my hand and say, Docker up!

Can you just add salts directly into the RDWC control bucket to raise the ppms?

I use a magnetic stirrer and always do the Jack's and epsom separately. I rarely add directly to the RDWC, though, unless they are eating a ton and I'm trying to ramp up the EC quickly. Usually the system fills through the float valve from my top off reservoir.

Do i need an air pump with a waterfall/fallponics system?

A 3/4" elbow with some tubing on the end, with plumbers tape to help thicken it up a bit, should fit in there nicely. Sometimes they pop out, though. I'm 3d printing some better fitting ones.

    Diy auto top off system

Also, here's what Current Culture has to say on the subject of top off reservoirs: https://cch2o.com/rdwc-grow-tips/ Apparently they recommend to load up the top off res with the nute strength for the next week's schedule, which makes sense. I've done that before but never consistently, may...

    Dwc top drip irrigation?

I like to run my top feed all through veg to promote massive root growth.

    Diy auto top off system

Doesn't really matter what nutes you use, just make sure to follow your feed chart for the amount of water you add to the res and account for your target EC. Always mix the nutes in the correct order and you should be fine.

    Diy auto top off system

Jacks RO, epsom salt, and hypochlorous acid (UC Roots). Basically just need to watch what your plants are doing. If EC is dropping, bump the res strength. If EC is climbing, drop the res strength. If EC isn't moving, let it ride.

    Diy auto top off system

I run a rdwc *with* a top-off res. I use it to stage all of my res changes, and keep the RDWC at the same water level at all times. You can also use it to steer the EC/PH. 1. Flip a valve to fill res with RO water, add nutes and PH. 2. Valve off the res, drain the RDWC. 3. Valve on, fill up...

    First Grow! Indoor RDWC Zkittlez

Day 32F Buds are forming slowly but surely. I hope I didn't stunt them with that nute burn at the beginning of flower. Right one is way behind now. I did end up direct mounting the lights so I could raise them further as I had reached the highest I could get with the metal wire hanger and the...

    First Grow! Indoor RDWC Zkittlez

I think the stretch finally stopped on lefty. Righty is a bit behind on stretch, but I think they should be within reasonable range. I can direct mount the light and raise it more if I need to. There are actually 2 lights in there, both SE3000's rated at 300W, but from what I've seen they put...

    First Grow! Indoor RDWC Zkittlez

Day 22F Did another big defoliation. Worried about humidity and getting bud rot or WPM, plus some of the lower stuff wasn't getting light at all and was starting to get wilty anyways. Hoping I didn't go too far!

Grow Room Automation with Home Assistant

I don't run HA on a rbpi, that would be just for sending the sensor data back. HA runs in my k8s cluster. Here's the graph card I'm using. https://github.com/RomRider/apexcharts-card
